If you are planning to visit FUMC of Hurst for the very first time, here are a few tips that will be helpful.

Enter the church property through our main entrance on Pipeline Road.  This entrance is located southeast of the Hurstview and Pipeline intersection, just east of Auto House.  FUMC Hurst is located across Pipeline from the Val-Oaks Shopping Center. 

Drive down our driveway, then veer slightly right to go up the small incline towards the green and yellow recycle bins. 

Just before reaching the recycle bins you will turn left to drive toward visitor parking.  Outside the Wesley Building doors there are twelve parking places for visitors (there is also an awning for curbside drop-offs during rainy weather). 

After you park your vehicle in one of the visitor parking spots, come inside the building.  At the doors to the Wesley Building you will be welcomed warmly by one of our friendly greeters. 

Once you enter the church atrium you will notice the Welcome Center.  Stop by the Welcome Center to pick up information about FUMC Hurst.  Our Welcome Center staff can answer almost any question:  Where is the nearest restroom?  Where is the nursery?  Where is the sanctuary?  Where is a specific Sunday School room?  Not only will they help you with your questions, they will also be happy to escort you to where you would like to go. 

You will also notice the flat screen televisions in the church atrium.  Scrolling on the screens are current church events.  Take a moment to see what it going on in the life of our church. 

You will walk from the atrium through two sets of double doors into the Narthex, which is the hallway outside our sanctuary.  There you will find helpful ushers who will give you a worship guide and help you find a seat if you would like.
