Amanda Morrissey
My name is Amanda Morrrissey, and I have been a member of FUMC Hurst for 13 years. In my time here, I have volunteered in many areas, including youth and children's ministries and Chancel Choir. I am currently studying at the University of North Texas to obtain a Masters of Science in Library Science. Working in a public library has been a dream of mine for many years, as I want to be able to share my love of reading and literature in an environment where all can have access to books and technology. I am honored and grateful to have received this scholarship, which will go a long way towards helping me reach my goal.
