Discipleship with Africans and their Families

At First United Methodist Church of Hurst, we sense that God is bringing the world to our doorsteps in order that we may demonstrate His love and share the Gospel with brothers and sisters from Africa who now reside in our own neighborhood. We are seeing God work in amazing ways through the ministries with Africans and their families in which we are involved.
Our ministry with Africans and their families has three main goals:

• To welcome our brothers and sisters from Africa in our community, regardless of their origin or language.
• To encourage them to be connected with God, people, and purpose.
• To help them adjust to life in America.

It is truly a blessing to see God’s strong hand guiding us as we share God’s love and grow deeper in our discipleship together.
